We answer in German, English and Turkish. We are a very small team — expect a few days rather than minutes.

What belongs in a bug report

The more precise these four details are, the sooner we find the cause:

  • The version line from *Settings ▸ Version*. It looks like this:

`1.0.0 (Build 107) · a1b2c3d · 2026-08-11T14:40Z · prod`. The string in the middle tells us the exact commit your build came from.

  • Device and Android version, for example "Samsung Galaxy S23, Android 15".
  • The selected calculation method and your location.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.

The times differ from my mosque

That is usually not a bug but a question of method. *Settings ▸ Calculation method* offers several.

For Türkiye and the Turkish community in Europe we ship the official Diyanet times — that is the "Türkiye" method. They are not calculated but the values published by the authority. Other methods use different twilight angles and therefore differ by a few minutes. Both are legitimate; what matters is which view your community follows.

At far northern locations, twilight does not end at all in summer. A substitute rule then divides the night arithmetically.

The adhan did not sound

Almost always this is Android's battery saving, not the app. Three things help:

  • Disable battery optimisation for Tam Vakit (Android settings ▸ Apps ▸

Tam Vakit ▸ Battery ▸ *Unrestricted*).

  • Allow exact alarms — Android 13 and newer asks for this separately.
  • Check whether the notification channel has been muted.

If none of that helps, write to us with the four details above.

Crash reports

Tam Vakit sends crash reports only if you switch that on in the settings. It is off by default. What is transmitted is described in the privacy policy.

Privacy

The app works without an account, without ads and without tracking. Details on which data leave the device, and when, are in our privacy policy.
